Salman Khan Drops Huge Update On Chiranjeevi Godfather

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has dropped a huge update on Chiranjeevi's Godfather as he spoke with a media outlet and confirmed that he is indeed a part of the project.  Salman has confirmed that he is making an extended cameo appearance in the film and even stated that Chiranjeevi had personally spoken with him regarding the same and pursuaded him to come onboard for the project. Salman's comments on his inclusion in Godfather are now going viral on social medai.



"Yes, it is true that I am a part of Chiranjeevi's Godfather. Chiranjeevi garu personally came down and asked me to be a part of the project and I simpky couldn't say no. I play an extended cameo role in the film and more details about the same will be out in the due course. I most certainly am excited about the collaboration with Chiranjeevi garu. It will be a new experience for me personally," Salman said as he confirmed that he is indeed a part of Godfather.

Salman had already confirmed that he is onboard for another exfciting Telugu project that will have Venkatesh in the central role. He appears to have signed multiple Telugu projects back to back. This could be an attempt to build a solid market for himself in the Telugu states. Needless to say, Salman's inclusion in Godfather will be a major boost to the scale and the canvas of the project both in the Telugu states and as well as the Hindi circuit. The coming together of Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan is as interesting as it can get.

Salman is said to be reprising Prithviraj Sukumaran's character from the original. He will be allotting the dates for the project very soon and start shooting from early next year. This will be his first straight Telugu film and what a debut it is going to be. It is known that Godfather is a remake of Mohanlal's Lucifer, a proper political thriller. The Telugu remake will have Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, Nayanthara and others in the lead roles. The film is being directed by Mohan Raja and co-produced by Konidela Production Company.
