The star actress has decided not to take up any new project for the next couple of months as she will rejuvenating herself and take some off in order to get back into the right mental sharpness to resume her career. She has decided to join the sets of her upcoming projects from the early stages of 2022. The makers of her ongoing films have understood the gravity of the situation and are okay with her taking some time off and rightly so, given the fact tha this is Samantha's personal decision to make.

It is known that the actress agreed to work with a newcomer for her next project, which will be produced by Sivalenkra Krishna Prasad. This project will be helmed by a debutante and it will be officially announced very soon. The pre-production is in full swing now. Apparently, Samantha is taking home a sensational remuneration of Rs 3.5 - 3.75 crores for starring in the film. This makes her one of the highest paid actresses in Indian cinema. Given Samantha's box office pull down south and her successful stint in the Hindi OTT market with the Family Man Season 2, the producer agreed to match her huge remuneration demand.
Also, this is the highest remuneration Samantha took for any film until this point in time in her career. She will commence shooting for the project from early next year. More details about the director of the project and the lead cast and crew will be out in the days to come.
