Samantha Terms Her Upcoming Release As 'Beautiful Film'!

'Shaakunthalam' is one film which raised a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. With Samantha playing the lead role, the expectations were high on this film and Gunasekhar who made super hits like 'Choodalani Vundi' and 'Okkadu' directed it after a long time. His last film was 'Rudhramadevi' which came out back in 2015. 'Shaakunthalam' is a pan-Indian film and the shooting was completed at a decent pace.
The film was supposed to hit the screens on 17th February but it got postponed because of various reasons. The trailer too generated a decent buzz on the movie and the makers have released an update claiming that 'Shaakunthalam' will be coming out on 14th April worldwide.
It looks like Samantha has finally watched the film and she is mightily pleased by it. She posted a picture with Gunasekhar, Neelima Guna and Dil Raju and wrote, "And I finally watched the movie today! @Gunasekhar1 garu.. you have my heart. What a beautiful film! One of our greatest epics brought to life so endearingly! I can't wait for our family audiences to be swept away by the powerful emotions!" She looks very happy in the click and even showed a heart emoji which is quite adorable. Let us wait and see how the movie turned out.
Music is composed by Mani Sharma while 'Shaakuntalam' is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Neelima Guna produced this film while Shekar V Joseph is the cinematographer. Prawin Pudi is the editor while Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues. Presented by Dil Raju, Dev Mohan will be seen as Dushyanta. Ananya Nagalla, Aditi Balan, Mohan Babu, Prakash Rah, Gautam, Kabir Bedi, Kabir Singh Duhan and others played key roles.
