After impressing Telugu and Tamil audience, Samantha Akkineni is gearing up for her maiden Hindi project, 'The Family Man' season 2, which is a sequel of âThe Family Man' web series, starring Manoj Bajpai and Priyamani.
With the makers announcing that Samantha is a part of the sequel, along with the Telugu audience, the Bollywood audiences are also waiting for the project to release.
Director duo Raj and DK, who helmed the sequel heaped praises on Samantha in their recent interview. Talking about the reason to cast Samantha in the sequel, the duo said, they were looking for a Tamil actor and they were spellbound with her performance in Super Deluxe.
After looking at the final output, we were in awe of the actor. She had acted in the bold character with much conviction. We can say that, except for Samantha, no one would have pulled off the role as she did, the duo said.
Increasing the expectations, the director duo said, Samantha's role in the sequel will remain the bold character so far.
The Indian espionage action thriller TV Series has an ensemble cast of Manoj Bajpayee, Priya Mani, Gul Panag, and Sundeep Kishan. The sequel of the Amazon originals will be streamed in June.
