'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' Posts Strong Numbers On Day 2!

The team of superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' has officially announced that it grossed a whopping 75 crores worldwide on its first day. It already minted over $1.5 million at the US market and is sure to cross $2 million by the end of its weekend. As per the producers, the movie collected a share of 36.63 crores on its opening day in the Telugu states.
Superstar's stamina and the entertainment in the movie helped the film to post strong numbers on the second day too. Despite being a working day, Mahesh's movie managed to get a share of 11.64 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Like every other movie released on Thursday, the footfalls for the morning as well as matinee shows are decent, wherein the next two shows witnessed houseful boards everywhere. On the whole, the film minted a share of 48.27 crores in the Telugu states alone in two days.
According to producers, the film created non-SSR Day 2 records in the East Godavari region. In two days, 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' collected a share of 17.44 crores in the Nizam area, 6.15 crores in the Ceeded region and 5.38 crores in the Uttarandhra area. It minted 4.33 crores and 3.19 crores in East and West Godavari districts respectively. The collections in the Guntur district were 6.34 crores while Krishna and Nellore summed up to 5.44 crores. With second Saturday and Sunday working in the film's favor, Mahesh Babu starrer is expected to get a large sum of money by the end of this weekend.
Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta produced this film under Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus banners along with GMB Entertainments. Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Samuthirakani and others play key roles. R Madhie handles the cinematography, while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and AS Prakash takes care of the art department. Ram - Lakshman master composed the fights while Yugandhar is the VFX supervisor. Directed by Parasuram Petla, this film has Keerthy Suresh romancing Mahesh.
