Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan and Rana's Bheemla Nayak were two of the first films to lock the Sanrkanthi release slot. The makers of these films had announced that they will be releasing on the 13th, and 12th of January respectively. However, that isn't the case anymore. The latest updates are suggesting that the makers of both these films have decided to track back on the release dates and they have opted to push back the release plans. Neither Sarkaru Vaai Paata nor Bheemla Nayak will be arriving in theatres next Sankranthi season.
The makers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata have locked 28th April as the film's new release date. The same is likely to be announced in the next few weeks. The film is certainly out of the Sankranthi release and an official announcement on the said release date will be out shortly. As mentioned, the film will be arriving in theatres towards the end of April with 28th April being the prime release date in consideration.
As for Bheemla Nayak, this film is also out of the Sankranthi release. It will most certainly be postponed from the 12th January release slot. The film is likely to lock 31st March as its new release date, but there is no affirmative update in this regard. The makers will be taking the final call on the same very soon and the official announcement will be made correspondingly. Sources close to the unit say the makers are seriously contemplating the prospect of releasing the film in theatres next March. An official announcement in this regard will provide more clarity and it isn't too far from now.
With Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Bheemla Nayak vacating the Sankranthi slot, two biggies RRR and Radhe Shyam will be locking horns with each other. These two heavy duty projects will be coming up against each other as they come with a week's gap. While RRR will be out on the 7th of January next year, Radhe Shyam will be out on the 14th of January. The box office clash between these two biggies will be interesting to watch.
