At a time when none of the Bollywood heroes are unable to find hits, it is senior hero Ajay Devgn who managed to score a blockbuster that too with a remake film. His 'Drishyam 2' has connected with the North audience and they are willing to walk into the theatres to see it. The movie crossed the 150 mark and is expected to touch the 160 crores mark by the end of Thursday.

Interestingly, young and happening hero Varun Dhawan's 'Bhediya' released last weekend and got a positive talk as well. But, it did not affect the collections of Ajay Devgn's film as it still got steady collections. While Varun Dhawan's film is struggling to reach the 100 crore mark despite the positive talk, 'Drishyam 2' is going strong and more screens are reportedly being added to it.

Abhishek Pathak handled the megaphone for the Hindi version of 'Drishyam 2'. The original score and music are given by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad while Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak produced it. Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary is the director of photography while the original story belongs to Jeethu Joseph.

It had Ajay Devgn, Shriya and Tabu playing the lead roles. As we are aware, Mohanlal's original version and Venkatesh's Telugu version of the same film were released directly on Amazon Prime Video long back and they are available to everyone. But none of it were dubbed in Hindi which helped the Hindi makers a lot. The first part of Hindi 'Drishyam' was highly successful on the small screen.
