Shahid Getting Heavily Paid For Our Remake!

Bollywood heroes have struck gold whenever they remade South films. More than half of Salman Khan's films from the past couple of years were remakes from southern languages. Young hero Tiger Shroff too made his entry with 'Parugu' remake and spoiled our films like 'Varsham', 'Kshanam' and 'Tadakha' but ended up scoring blockbusters.
Handsome hero Shahid Kapoor has also joined this league now. He hit a jackpot by remaking our 'Arjun Reddy' as 'Kabir Singh' in Hindi. He is now acting in the Hindi version of Nani's fantastic film 'Jersey'. News is that Shahid is getting heavily paid for this remake. If sources are to be believed, the 'Jab We Met' hero is charging 35 crores as remuneration along with GST rates.
As per reports, he is even taking 20% of the net profits what the film earns. He made the same kind of agreement for 'Kabir Singh' too which was made on a budget of 60 crores and collected more than 300 crores. Apart from the remuneration, Shahid got an additional 50-60 crores from the profits as per insiders. If 'Jersey' remake becomes a big hit, he ends up in piles of money once again.
