Prolific producer Dr Jayanthilal Gada was recently admitted to the hospital and was under the care of doctors for a couple of days. Sources say that he was suffering from some heart issues and the doctors had to fit a pacemaker in him. There were reports that he collapsed in the production office but his son Dhaval Gada denied it straight away.
Dhaval Gada explained, â€œDad didn't collapse. But it is true that he was in a hospital and doctors fitted a pacemaker in his heart.â€ He clarified that he is discharged from the hospital as he is doing better right now. He took to Twitter and thanked everyone for the wishes. He stated, â€œI would like to thank everyone who reached out to me in regards to my health concern. With everyone's blessings and grace of God, I am absolutely fine now, and nursing back to health. Thanks to some amazing doctors, my family and my dear friend Satish Kaushik who was by my side.â€
He thanked all the doctors by name and people close to him were happy to hear this good news. Jayanthilal Gada is a top film producer who has been making films from a very long time under his Popular Entertainment Network which is commonly called as 'Pen Studios'. They bought the entire rights of Rajamouli's Magnum opus and sold it to popular streaming services and satellite networks across the country.
They retained the North India's distribution rights. Pen Studios is also bankrolling Bellamkonda Srinivas' 'Chatrapathi' remake which is being directed by VV Vinayak. Apart from that, they are the producers of Shankar's 'Anniyan' Hindi remake featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead. Alia Bhatt's 'Gangubai Khatiawadi' is also being produced by them
The director of this film is Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They are also bankrolling crazy projects like Akshay Kumar's 'Bell Bottom', 'Attack' and others. They are making all the big projects in Hindi and making pan-Indian films which is helping them in growing as a huge brand. The shooting of Shankar's film with Ranveer Singh is expected to start once he finishes Ram Charan's project. Pen Studios is handling a lot of big films at a time.
