Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has once again come under fire for raising concerns among farmers in Delhi against the new agriculture laws introduced by the central government. Kangana tweeted to insult an elder involved in the farmers' agitation. Diljit Dosanjh has countered the Queen actress for her false statements and it started a fight between them.

A day after Kangana and Diljit had a scrap on Twitter, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has now sought action against the actress. She has been asked to apologise for her derogatory tweet. A day after giving a legal notice to Kangana, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee's (DSGMC) chief Manjinder Singh Sirsa said Ranaut should give an "unconditional apology" within a week.

"We have sent a legal notice to @KanganaTeam for her derogatory tweet calling the aged mother of a farmer as a woman available for ₹ 100. Her tweets portray farmers protest as anti-national. We demand an unconditional apology from her for her insensitive remarks on farmers protest," Mr Sirsa tweeted.

The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee is a strong representative of Sikhs in the national capital. The DSGMC is a legal body set up under the Sikh Gurdwara Act, 1971, which says it has to look after the day-to-day affairs of the community.
