Superstar Mahesh Babu is working with Vamshi Paidipally for an exciting project titled Maharshi. The producers have taken time for the pre-production and got best on board for the movie. Sudden Star Allari Naresh is playing a key role in the film while Pooja Hegde is the leading lady.
Mahesh Babu's role is going to have multiple shades and looks in the movie. As per the buzz, Mahesh will be seen as a college student, a businessman and a common man who fights for the problems faced by the farmers. While Pooja Hegde will be seen as the main heroine, the makers wanted another actress to pair up with Mahesh for his businessman role.
After considering a lot of heroines, the makers approached Mehreen Kaur but she is said to have declined the offer. Going by the reports, the role is not going to have any scope for performance and it will have the limited runtime. Mehreen who is playing lead roles in movies thought it would affect her career if she plays a small role.
Even though it is an offer from Mahesh Babu's film, Mehreen has rejected the offer which was now grabbed by Sonal Chauhan who earlier acted in the films like Legend, Size Zero, Pandaga Chesko, and others.
