Sonu Sood tests Covid-19 positive, announces the same on social media

Actor Sonu Sood, who helped several Indians during the pandemic period, has been infected with the Coronavirus. The Real Hero took to social media to share the news of catching Covid-19.
In a post shared on his Instagram account, Sonu Sood said he has tested positive for Coronavirus. The actor said as per doctors' advice he had quarantined himself. I am always there for you all, he added.
"Covid - positive. Mood & spirit - super positive. Hi everyone, this is to inform you that i have tested positive this morning for Covid -19 as a part of precautions I have already quarantined my self & taking utmost care , but don't worry this gives me ample time to solve your problems remember i'm always there for you all," Sonu Sood's post reads.
Soon after the post, his fans wished him a speedy recovery. The netizens asked Sonu Sood to take care of himself and said people are [praying for his recovery from the respiratory disease.
The Punjab government had recently appointed Sonu Sood as the brand ambassador for the state vaccination program. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh announced the same on social media.
On the work front, Sonu Sood is currently busy shooting for Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya. He also has films like Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj and Thamilarasan in Kollywood.
