South African Train Action Scenes For Ulaganayagan's 'Indian 2'!

'Indian' which was released back in 1996 was a sensational hit that made Shankar one of the top directors in South India. Kamala Hassan's phenomenal acting turned it into an evergreen film. A lot of elements like the strong story, stupendous music and others worked in favor of that film. It is known that Shankar planned a sequel for this film and started 'Indian 2' long back. The shooting came to halt for nearly a year due to various reasons like accidents on sets and differences between the director and producer.

After all the legal battles, the movie's shooting started once again and Shankar who started Ram Charan's project in the meanwhile is now juggling between the two movies. 'Indian 2' is one of the most awaited projects in the country and people are eager to see the duo of Shankar and Kamal Hassan work their magic on the screen even after 27 years.

The entire team is now working hard to finish this film at a rapid pace and sources say that it will be releasing at the end of 2023. Apparently, 35 days of shooting is pending and insiders reveal that the movie unit will be flying to South Africa soon for two weeks in order to picturise some high-octane action sequences. This fight scene is going to take place on a train in South Africa.

Top-notch international fight masters have reportedly designed this episode and the makers have spent a lot on it. Many say that it is going to be one of the biggest highlights of the movie. The entire production will be wrapped up in May and the movie is expected to get released during the Dasara season. Grapevine suggests that Kamal hired American makeup artists for his look in this flick.

Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies banners are bankrolling this project while Kajal Agarwal is the heroine. Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for this movie. Bobby Simha, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani and others are playing key roles.
