Due to various reasons, people from Telugu states are showing interest in hearing speeches about religion and gods. A few spiritual leaders are playing a key role in inculcating interest among people to hear the Avadhanams. Popular Avadhani Garikapati Narasimha Rao is one among them.
Given their popularity, they are invited to a few spiritual and cultural events. The other day, Garikapati Narasimha Rao was present at the Alai Balai event organised by Bandaru Dattatreya in Nampally. Chiranjeevi was also invited to the big event.
However, an unexpected thing happened at the event happened as Garikapati asked Chiranjeevi to stop his photo sessions or else he shall leave the place. This stunned everyone at the gathering. Garikapati’s comments did not go well with Mega fans and supporters of the mega family.
Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagababu indirectly took a dig at Garikapati and said anyone will get jealous looking at Megastar. He was not happy with what happened with his brother at the Alai Balai event and he showed his anger with a social media post.
Megastar fans and mega family supporters are not happy with the spiritual leader. They felt that Garikapati should have conveyed the same message with a soft tone instead of using a harsh tone.
Moreover, Mega fans are saying Garikapati is a Padmashari Awardee and Chiranjeevi received the Padma Vibhushan award and the spiritual leader should have kept this in mind.
The spiritual leader is facing severe criticism for what he said at the event. Even a few actors who have high respect for Megastar Chiranjeevi are also saying that Garikapati Narasimha Rao, who preaches to others to control their anger could not follow himself.
However, neutral audiences are saying that there is nothing wrong with what Garikapati Narasimha Rao said at the event. They say that, clicking selfies at the Alai Balai event when there are invitees on the stage. Clicking selfies is not wrong, but the situation when the pictures were clicked was not right and Garikapati pointed out that.
Alai Balai is a yearly event that is held by Bandaru Dattatreya. The event showcases the rich culture and heritage of Telangana.
