Srikanth Addala himself approached Venkatesh for a film and when the actor asked if he can handle Asuran remake, the director did not hesitate, it seems.
Addala with three films proved to be a completely different storyteller with a typical writing capabilities that gave him unique image.
But his fourth film, Brahmostavam with Mahesh became such a huge disaster that the director is still unable to recover from it.
