Star Hero's Brother Heads Into Clash With Ilayathalapathy

Suriya Siva Kumar is one of the star heroes in Tamil film industry who enjoys craze and market equal to that of Ajith and Vijay. His brother Karthi too enjoys a decent market but he is yet to acquire that stardom. Although Karthi has his set of films and audiences, he is always game for the experiments. After coming up with romantic comedy Dev earlier this year which became a colossal disaster in both Tamil and Telugu, Karthi is now ready with a new movie.
After ending up with failure by making rom-com, Karthi has decided to come up with a serious film and has teamed up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the movie Khaithi. The film's shoot has been wrapped up in just a couple of months and currently, the post-production works are going on at a brisk pace.
Finally, the makers have officially announced that the film will be hitting the screens during the Diwali festive weekend. But they didn't reveal the release date though.
Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Bigil is also releasing during the same weekend and this confirms that clash between him and Karthi for the big Diwali weekend. Vijay is a superstar and Karthi is heading in a clash with him for this Diwali. While Bigil is an action entertainer, Khaithi is an intense drama. We will have to wait and see which one will emerge victorious among both of them. Khaithi is being produced by SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures.
