Actor Sunil has a lot of following thanks to his impeccable timing as a star comedian. He changed his route and turned into a hero for a couple of years which forced him to stay away from being a comedian. He scored some good hits as a hero initially but back-to-back flops put an end to his hero stints. He made his comeback as a comedian again but his second innings is not going as expected.
People are commenting that he lost his Midas touch. Many thought that his best friend Trivikram would bring him success but it did not happen. He cast Sunil in 'Aravinda Sametha' and 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' but he failed to generate enough laughs. He even surprised the audience by doing a villain role that didn't succeed either.
He played a negative role in Ravi Teja's 'Disco Raja' which turned out to be a disaster. There are many reasons behind the film's failure and Sunil's character in one among them. Keeping it aside, he is playing the role of an antagonist in 'Colour Photo'. The film is under production and we need to see how Sunil's villainy is going to be garnered by the public. It is a tough task to impress as a bad guy and that is why our makers look at actors outside the industry. Let us see in which direction Sunil's career goes.
