The Telugu film industry is having a great time post 'Baahubali'. Our heroes and directors are aiming big with pan-Indian projects and are looking to conquer the other markets. Despite the pandemic, a lot of pan-Indian projects are being made and the star heroes have already jumped back into the shooting.
Popular Mumbai-based media agency Ormax Media announced the list of popular actors in Tollywood and what surprised everyone is superstar Mahesh Babu taking up one of the Top 3 places each and every time. In the list of most popular male stars (Telugu) in June 2021, it was superstar Mahesh Babu who took the top spot. He was followed by stylish star Allu Arjun and third place is occupied by Pawan Kalyan and the fifth place was taken by Jr. NTR. The rest of the five spots were occupied by Ram Charan, Vijay Devarakonda, Nani, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja.
Interestingly, Mahesh Babu is the only actor in the first seven spots who doesn't have a pan-Indian project right now. Even without aiming for a nationwide market, superstar still managed to take the top spot which explains volumes about his craze and stardom. His fans are over the moon after seeing this list. Even in the list of popular Telugu actors announced by Ormax during October 2020 and May 2020, Mahesh Babu ended up in the 3rd and 2nd spots respectively. Stylish star Allu Arjun took the first spot on both occasions.
It was Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun who consistently made it to the Top 3 list on each and every occasion. They interchanged positions at times but they are ever present in the list which is making their fans quite elated. Along with younger stars, senior hero Megastar Chiranjeevi too managed to earn a place in this list.
