The much-awaited 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' has released on 12th May amidst huge hype and expectations. The film had a lot of positive buzz prior to its release and the trailer too promised to showcase superstar Mahesh Babu in a very energetic role after a long time. The film opened to packed houses but managed to garner mixed reviews from the critics. Though they lauded Mahesh Babu's performance and screen presence, the slow pace and routine proceedings in the second half tested the patience of many.
The makers officially announced that the film collected a gross of 75 crores on the first day itself. Despite being a working day, the collections on the second day are equally good according to sources. The situation is the same in the USA market which is considered Mahesh Babu's fort. Irrespective of the talk, his films earn millions in the US market.
The overseas distributors 'Fly High Cinemas', 'Sholka Entertainments' and 'Classic Entertainments' have officially released a poster that claims that the film grossed $1.5 million+ and counting. By the end of its first weekend, this movie is expected to cross the $2 million mark easily and the rest depends on Mahesh's crowd-pulling stamina along with the strength of the film's content. With a long weekend coming to its advantage, this film is expected to register good numbers at the box office. Let us wait and see what happens.
