Superstar slaps his neighbour with a defamation suit!

Alleging the spread of defamatory information against him with a vested interest, a well-known Superstar had knocked on the doors of the court with a legal defamation suit against his neighbour. In the suit, the Superstar sought directives from the court to direct the person to not spread content that is defamatory in manner.
The star who had approached the court is none other than Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan. He filed a defamation suit against one Ketan Kakkad, who happens to be the neighbour of his farmhouse located in Panvel. Salman Khan alleged that his neighbour is trying to defame him, media reports said.
It is also said that Salman Khan sought certain directives from the court to see that Ketan Kakkad won't spread the content on any platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Salman Khan reportedly sought the removal of the objectionable content.
The Court heard the arguments of both parties and adjourned the next hearing in the case to the 21st of this month. When Salman Khan's lawyers said that the Court should make the other party not post or share any piece of defamatory content, the lawyers defending Salman Khan's neighbor countered the claims.
They have told the court that the Court should grant some time for their client to take further steps and move the court with a counter file in the case. Satisfied with the arguments, the Court pushed the next hearing further.
Media reports say that the controversy took place between the duo over a transaction of a land sale. On the same matter, Ketan Kakkad is reportedly spreading and circulating defamatory content against Salman Khan.
When Kakkad wanted to purchase a plot near Salman Khan's farmhouse, his efforts went in vain when the concerned authorities said the transaction was illegal. This made Kakkad think that there was Salman Khan's hand behind the cancellation of the deal.
As this did not sit well with his neighbour, he started to spread the defamatory content. When the issue was brought to the notice of Salman Khan, he had moved a local court against his neighbour in this matter.
