Surprisingly, 'Vedhalam' Remake Completes Its Kolkata Schedule!

Megastar Chiranjeevi is acting in star writer-director Koratala Siva's 'Acharya' at the moment. The shooting has restarted recently and there are a lot of expectations over this social drama. The film needs a couple more months to get wrapped up and Megastar has already lined up two other projects.
He gave his green signal for 'Lucifer' and 'Vedhalam' remakes. Whilst the director is not yet confirmed for 'Lucifer' remake, Meher Ramesh is ready with the complete script of 'Vedhalam' remake. Talk in tinsel town says that Meher Ramesh has already started shooting for his film and since some portions need to be shot in Kolkata, the team reach the location a few days back.
Rumors are that the Kolkata schedule is already completed. As these scenes don't require Megastar's presence, Meher Ramesh went ahead and filmed those scenes as planned. This news is yet to be confirmed and fans are curious to see how a flop director like Meher handles this flick.
On the other hand, 'Acharya' is a film which has a lot of hype on it. Ram Charan is playing a special role while Kajal is the female lead. Mani Sharma is composing the music. Koratala Siva is filming this movie in a prestigious manner.
