Soon after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, many online initiatives were undertaken in his name. An NGO wrote to Shiva Sena government urging honour the actor with Padma Bhushan and recently his fans started an online petition for his wax statue at Madame Tussauds London.

Now, a sculptor, Sukanto Roy in West Bengal's Asansol has unveiled the first-ever wax statue of the Dil Bechara actor.

The statue has been put on display on 17th September 2020 at the museum for visitors. Clothed in black bottoms, a white t-shirt and denim jacket teamed with white sneakers, a wrist-watch and a heartwarming smile on his face, Sushant's wax statue looks very realistic.

The photos have already gone viral on social media, and many netizens have expressed mixed emotions after having a look at the statue.
