An advertisement recently released by Bingo ended up bothering many fans of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on social media. His fans were offended to the advisement, which features actor Ranveer Singh, owing to a distinct 'scientific' talk that the brand ambassador said in the commercial.
The ad showed Ranveer as a young boy well-versed with scientific terms like photon and algorithms. Now, this annoyed the supporters of Sushant and they blamed the company and Ranveer of making fun of their beloved actor by mocking his passion for science.
Soon after the ad surfaced, Sushant Singh Rajput's fans trended #BoycottBingo online and demanded owners to exclude the advert from social media.
A day after the issue raised, Bingo! released an official statement stating that their commercial doesn't mock anyone and asked people to not fall prey to such mischievous posts.
