TFI Hoping To Score Big In August At Least!

With an interesting line up of releases like 'Pakka Commercial', 'Thank You', 'The Warrior', 'Ramarao On Duty' and others, things looked very encouraging for Tollywood in July. But none of these films managed to become successful and July ended up being a nightmare with not even a single hit. The theatre owners, buyers and producers ended up in losses and there were many occasions when the shows were canceled on weekdays. If this goes on, the situation will be so tough for the theatrical business.
But the film industry is like a gamble and hope never dies. The Tollywood folk are hoping that August will be profitable for them. There are a lot of good films and big projects arriving this month. On 5th August, Kalyan Ram's 'Bimbisara' and Dulquer Salman's 'Sita Ramam' are hitting the screens. While one is a socio fantasy film, the other one is a complete love story. The buzz is quite positive on both these films. Being a socio-fantasy project is going to be a huge advantage for 'Bimbisara' as it is a minimum guarantee genre. Coming to 'Sita Ramam', love stories is an eternal subject and big names like Dulquer, Mrunal, Rashmika, Sumnath, Hanu Raghavapudi and others attract the audience as well.
On 12th August, movies like Nithiin's 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' and 'Karthikeya 2' are hitting the screens. Nithiin's film is full of commercial elements. It is an action entertainer with high voltage fights, addictive songs, glamorous heroines, mass dialogues and many more. If things work out, the film may end up successful. Coming to 'Karthikeya 2', it is a mystery thriller. It is a sequel of 'Karthikeya' which came out in 2014. Chandoo Mondeti directed this flick and it lead cast involves Nikhil, Anupama, Anupam Kher, Srinivas Reddy, Harsha and others.
The biggest project of August will be arriving on 25th August. Vijay Deverakonda's pan-Indian action flick 'Liger' is all set to hit the screens. Puri Jagannadh has bounced back with 'Ismart Shankar'. There are high expectations on 'Liger' and the business has been more than satisfactory. The film may get huge collections if it manages to get a positive talk. Even Tollywood folks are hoping the same. Let us wait and see what happens in August.
