Hindi film industry is showing high interest in the lives of prominent personalities as they make for a great story to tell. They are making a lot of biopics these days on sports stars and the latest one to add to this list is Mithali Raj.
This star cricketer had a long career spanning over 20 years and served as Indian women's team captain in all the three formats. She is the face of women's cricket in India and is an inspiration to many people. Now, her story is all set to turn into a biopic in Bollywood.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced today that Tapsee Pannu will be seen onscreen as Mithali Raj in this film directed by Rahul Dholakia ('Raees' fame). The title of this film will be 'Shabaash Mithu' and it is bankrolled by Viacom 18 Studios. The shooting will start from next month and is expected to hit the screens by the end of 2020.
