Tamil Audience Not At All Caring About Game Changer!

Legendary filmmaker Shankar is working on two projects at the same time. It is the first time in his career and we don't usually see star directors taking such risks. He is making two pan-Indian films 'Game Changer' and 'Indian 2' at once. Interestingly, both the movies are expected to release within a gap of 2-3 months. Kamal Hassan starrer will be arriving during the Pongal season while Ram Charan is reportedly planning on arriving in the summer of 2024.

Since it is a pan-Indian film, 'Game Changer' will be released in Tamil too. The team released an official poster in Tamil as well but the Kollywood audience showed no interest in Ram Charan's film. They are not owning it despite it being a Shankar film. As we all know, the Tamil audience claim that Shankar is greater than Rajamouli since he made pan-Indian films back in the 90s and 2000s when pan-Indian movies were not a thing. Shankar's vision and grandeur was unmatchable in the past. Despite all the love towards Shankar, they are not at all encouraging his 'Game Changer' movie.

On the other side, Shankar's films were always grandly received by the Telugu audience. Despite the Tamil flavor, his movies became super hits in Andhra and Telangana. Even now, people in Telugu states are eagerly waiting to see 'Indian 2' as Kamal Hassan and Shankar have reunited after 29 years.

Not just 'Game Changer' but the Tamil audience are not encouraging Telugu movies or Telugu filmmakers. Despite having Vijay and Dhanush as heroes, 'Varisu' and 'Vaathi', the Tamil movie lovers weren't too excited about these flicks since they were made by Telugu directors. We know that not many movies of our star heroes end up as hits in Tamil Nadu.
