Tamil Directors Planning Only Police Stories For Telugu Heroes!

As it is known, crazy Tamil director Venkat Prabu is making a film with Naga Chaitanya. The pre-production work is going on right now and the movie is expected to go the floors soon. The director is known for his interesting movies like 'Saroja', 'Gambler', 'Rakshasudu', 'Maanadu' and others. Reports suggest that he is planning to make a police story with Naga Chaitanya. It is expected to be a complete action entertainer and Krithi Shetty is the heroine in this project. Akkineni fans are concerned about this project and there is a strong reason behind it.

Recently, energetic hero Ram Pothineni came up with 'The Warriorr' which is a bilingual. This film which came out in Tamil and Telugu was directed by Tamil filmmaker Lingusamy. The director has a lot of fame and Ram expected to get a good market in Tamil Nadu too. But the film ended up being a regular commercial drama that had nothing new. It is a story about a police officer who tried to put an end to a ruthless villain. Krithi Shetty is the heroine in that film too.

To be honest, cop action dramas are a thing of the past. Unless they are very gripping like 'Dhruva' or unique like 'Temper', the audience are in no mood to step into the theatres in order to watch a regular commercial film. Also, most of the Tamil directors failed to deliver hits to Telugu heroes. We all know what Murugadoss made with Mahesh Babu, Lingusamy's recent outing was a failure too. Gautham Menon's 'Saahasame Swaasaga Saagipo' ended as a commercial failure too. Now, Venkat Prabu reportedly planning to make the same old police story is creating a lot of tension among the fans.

Naga Chaitanya is in the best form of his career right now with hits like 'Majili', 'Venky Mama' and 'Bangarraju'. Now, he is all set to arrive with 'Thank You' under Vikram Kumar's direction. We need to see how his film with Venkat Prabhu turns out.
