Tamil star heroes enjoying a lot of craze in Telugu states is not a new thing. Right from superstar Rajnikanth to Karthi, many heroes like Kamal, Vikram, Suriya and others have a huge fanbase. There were instances where their dubbing films did extremely well and dominated a lot of Telugu movies. But things took a turn recently and not many Tamil films are performing well in the Telugu market.
While Tamil films offered something different in the past, there is a big complaint that their films are getting a bit stereotypical while Telugu filmmakers are trying new concepts lately. The Telugu market has increased immensely after 'Baahubali' and it is attracting a lot of North viewers too. At this juncture, the Tamil heroes are now aiming to conquer the Telugu market once again.
This time they are coming with pan-Indian films or bilingual films under the direction of Telugu directors. Thalapathy Vijay has reportedly agreed to work with Vamsi Paidipally and sources suggest that star hero Suriya is all set to team up with Boyapati Sreenu. Recently, Dhanush announced that he is going to act under Sekhar Kammula's direction for a pan-Indian film. Even Tamil directors like Ligusamy and Shankar are teaming up with Telugu stars to expand themselves. Seems like the Tamil heroes and filmmakers are trying to conquer the Telugu market once again.
