Gone are the days when Telugu cinema used to make devotional movies like Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu. Though audiences are ready to watch such films, the makers are not looking at the genre. As the end of the long wait, such films are started coming. Balakrishna's Akhanda is one such film. Despite not being a full devotional film, Akhanda impressed many when even scenes on Lord Shiva appeared.

Continuing the trend, young hero Nikhil Siddharth's recent outing Karthikeya 2 explores the teachings and path shown by Lord Krishna. The film takes us through the life and glory of the almighty. With the sequel talking about the teachings of lord Krishna, the religious organization International Society for Krishna Consciousness(ISKCON) which spreads Lord Krishna's teachings has been promoting the film.

ISKCON members even invited the team to Vrindavan and the teaser was released there. The teaser has received a stunning response. The religious organisation which has been in operation since the 1900s has now written a letter to team Karthikeya 2.

The Calgary chapter of ISKCON based in Canada has written an appreciation letter to team Karthikeya 2 to congratulate the success the team is enjoying. The chapter also thanked the team for showing the glory and teachings of Lord Krishna.

Team Karthikeya 2 receiving the appreciation letter from the Calgary ISKCON is not a small thing and one of its kind. No film in the country has received such honour. As the film shed light on Krishnatatvam ISKCON liked the film and earlier invited the team to visit the campus.

Now the same religious organisation has appreciated the film for the success the team is enjoying. In the letter, the body also said that in the next projects too, the team would glorify the teachings of Lord Krishna and show the world what Sri Krishna Paramatma said.

Without any doubt, the appreciation team Karthikey 2 received from the ISKCON will be the biggest honour as no film has managed to do so. The film is winning applauses from all the corners and in both south and north markets, the sequel is doing well.
