Bollywood star heroine Alia Bhatt was always known for her cute and adorable looks. She did some challenging roles in films like 'Raazi' and 'Udta Punjab' but the actress is coming on July 30th with the biggest film of her career. Directed by ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Alia Bhatt turned into 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'.
The teaser of this intense film came out recently and it shows Alia in a completely different light. Alia pulled off the role of a strong and tough woman who went through a lot in her life to perfection. As the makers said, "Fiery and feisty. She's ready to reign!"
Gangubai Kathiawadi is taken from a book titled 'Mafia Queens Of Mumbai' written by Hussain Zaidi. Gangubai was sold to prostitution by her lover and she later becomes a supreme force along with running a brothel in Kamatipura. Produced by Bhansali and Jayantilal Gada, this film has a lot of noted actors like Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Huma Qureshi playing key roles.
Seems like Bhansali is all set to impress us with another compelling story and his trademark gripping narration. On the whole, the teaser impresses the audience big time and let us see how the film turns out.
