Teaser Talk: Netflix's First Telugu Anthology 'Pitta Kathalu'!

The mindset of people changed a lot after they got exposed to the OTT world. Filmmakers are not afraid of doing experiments and are coming up with out-of-the-box concepts. They are making anthologies with star directors in many languages and here comes the first from Telugu. 'Pitta Kathalu' is an anthology about modern and independent women which was made by noted directors Tharun Bhascker, Sankalp Reddy, Nag Ashwin and Nandini Reddy.
Netflix has announced this project officially by releasing a teaser. Actors like Eesha Rebba, Shruti Hassan, Amala Paul and Lakshmi Manchu play the roles of independent women on whom the stories revolve around. This film also has actors like Ashima Narwal, Jagapathi Babu, Satyadev, Saanvi Meghana, Sangitha Hegde playing key roles. It will be streaming on Netflix from 19th November in over 190 countries.
Tharun Bhascker directed Manchu Lakshmi's story and she played the role of Ramula. Amala Paul will be seen as Meera and Jagapathi Babu is a part of her story. It is directed by Nandini Reddy. Nag Ashwin handled Shruti Hassan's story and Eesha Rebba's part is directed by Sankalp Reddy. The teaser shows that they dealt with some bold topics just like Bollywood's 'Lust Stories'. RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainments are producing this film jointly.
