The Tollywood box office is set to witness a frenzy of sorts again. From the 24th of September, we have a biggie lined up for release every weekend. Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, and Sekhar Kammula's Love Story will start off the proceedings as it hits the silver screens on the 24th of this month. It is the first mainstream Telugu biggie to release in theatres post the Covid second wave and it is riding high on buzz. As we had reported earlier, Tollywood as a whole is pinning hopes on Loe Story. The industry is hopeful that Love Story will be the film to pull the family audiences back to the theatres again. Fittingly enough, the film has a super successful audio album, posses family appeal, and more importantly banks on Sekhar Kammula's image. Needless to say, it is Tollywood's best bet to pull the family audience back to the theatres in big numbers.

Next in the line is Sai Dharam Tej's Republic. The social drama has Sai Dharam Tej playing the role of an IAS officer and it is billed to be a hard-hitting drama. The film is announced for theatrical release on the 1st of October. It will be the second mainstream Telugu biggie to release in theatres after Naga Chaitanya. The makers will soon be commencing whirlwind promotions for the Sai Dharam Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Ramya Krishna starrer. It is directed by Deva Katta.

Then come Akhil Akkineni's Most Eligible Bachelor, and Vaishnav Tej's Kondapolam. Both these exciting films will be out on the 8th of October. While Most Eligible Bachelor is billed to be a love drama, Kondapolam is a rural drama. Both these films cater to different sections of the audience so there won't be a direct clash at the box office. Most Eligible Bachelor has Akhil and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. Kondapolam has Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh in the central roles.

Next in cue is Sharwanand's Maha Samudram. This film has Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari in other lead roles and is directed by Ajay Bhupathi of RX100 fame. The film is releasing in theatres on 14th October.
