Acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has landed himself in trouble once again. He directed a short story in the Netflix anthology named 'Ghost Stories' which came out in 2020. Sobhita Dhulipala is the lead character in Anurag’s part and a complaint has been filed against the 'Bombay Velvet' director as it violates the new regulations.

The Netflix India received a complaint claiming that there are objectionable scenes in Kashyap's short film. According to the rules laid down by the central government recently, a particular scene has crossed the line as per the complaint. The involves Sobhita Dhulipala's devouring the fetus from her miscarriage which might trigger women who suffered from multiple miscarriages.

Sobitha Dhulipala too said that this scene was unnecessarily filmed without a good reason. Kashyap took to Instagram and wrote, "So it has started... A complaint came to Netflix on Ghost Stories. This is the end." A lot of films and series like 'A Suitable Boy’, 'Sacred Games' and others have landed in huge controversies due to their objectionable dealing of sensitive issues regarding religion, foul languages and many others.
