'Thalaivi' Gets A Clean 'U' & Surprises Everyone!

Two time National Award winner Kangana Ranaut is all set to wow the audience as 'Thalaivi' soon. She will be seen as legendary actress and politician, late Jayalalitha in this pan-Indian project. Since it is the biopic of a famous and influential personality in Tamil Nadu, people expected some controversies. The trailer hinted that the makers touched some sensitive issues in Jayalalitha's life which may stir some trouble.
Surprising everyone, 'Thalaivi' was given a clean 'U' certificate by the Tamil censor board. Seems like the makers are in no mood to enter into any issues and made it quite carefully. While the final output is ready, the makers are waiting for the right time to release this much-awaited project. The Telugu and Hindi versions will be censored soon.
Written and directed by Vijay, Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh have produced this film. A lot of big banners are attached to this film including Zee Studios and T-Series. Aravind Swami will be seen as MGR in this movie and Kangana Ranaut has pinned a lot of hopes on this biopic.
