The Day When Prabhas Gave A Shock To His Father!

Prabhas is a huge national star now but he never wanted to be an actor. His father Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju on the other hand always wanted to see his son become a hero. Prabhas wasn't interested in that idea for a long time but he said to his father that he wants to be a hero out of the blue at the age of 19. His father was shocked by it and Prabhas explained it in an interview.
As we know, Prabhas is a shy person and he kept acting as his last option. But his father late Suryanarayana Raju who is a producer and distributor believed that his son would become a huge star one day. Even when others said that Prabhas is quite hesitant to appear before the camera, his dad would ask them to try even if it needed multiple takes.
Prabhas said that he wasn't interested in films since he grew up in film background. He added that it was not just his dad but his 'Pedananna' Krishnam Raju was also adamant on him becoming an actor. Prabhas was born on October 23rd, 1979 to Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari. His family are from Mogaltooru village of West Godavari district. He has a brother named Prabodh and a younger sister named Pragathi. He is good friends with Gopichand, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Rana, Manchu Manoj and others. He had his primary education from DNR school in Bhimavaram and did his engineering in Hyderabad's Sri Chaitanya college. He started off his career with 'Eeshwar' and went onto score super hits. Post 'Baahubali', he became a pan-Indian star now.
