Handsome and talented hero Adivi Sesh's forthcoming film 'Major' has been postponed once more. This pan-Indian film was supposed to hit the big screens on 11th February but the makers announced the audience have to wait for some more time in order to watch it. They released an official statement which says, “Given the current situation and restrictions in various parts of the country, the release of 'Major' stands postponed. 'Major' is a film made for India and we will release it only when the situation improves across the country. Till then, please take care of yourselves and stay safe.”

'Major' is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan who sacrificed his life during the '26/11' attacks in Mumbai back in 2008. It is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka who made 'Goodachari' earlier with Sesh. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues while Adivi Sesh himself provided the screenplay. Maratha beauty Saiee Manjrekar will be making her Telugu debut with 'Major'. She will be seen as Sandeep's love interest while Telugu girl Sobitha Dhulipala is playing a key role in this film. 'Major' has been in the making for a very long time and the makers have taken a lot of care in making sure that the facts are being presented with utmost accuracy.

This pan-Indian project is produced jointly by Sony Pictures India, A+S Movies and GMB Entertainments jointly. The movie has been mounted on a large scale and the teaser which came out a few months back raised a lot of expectations. It is visually stunning as well as highly emotional. Veterans like Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, Revathi and others are also a part of this film. 'Major' is a pan-Indian film that is going to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Adivi Sesh is known for interesting action thrillers like 'Goodachari', 'Kshanam' and 'Yevaru'.

The first song 'Hrudayama' got a very good response from the audience too. People expected to watch the film in February and but it looks like the wait is going to continue for some more time.
