This Director Gave Birth At 43 Through IVF!

Bollywood Director Ashima Chibber of 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' fame conceived a baby through IVF as she is yet to meet the right person to fall in love and get married. At the age of 40, Ashima began trying pregnancy using the IVF Technology. She was finally able to become a mother at the age of 43. 'Don't want to wait for a Man to fulfill my motherhood dream,' she says.
Ashima lives in Mumbai's posh locality Andheri. Her Mother, who stays in Hyderabad, visits Mumbai once in few months to take care of the Child. Two Servants in the house were assigned the duty of doing everything needed for the toddler.
Last year, "MaaHoonNaa Series was launched to felicitate the Single Moms living in Mumbai. In the episode named 'Box Of Laddoos', Ashima Chibber shared her experiences in the process of becoming a Mother through IVF. She said, 'I got my first break as a Director when I was 38. That is when I realized success don't have a meaning when you don't have a family to witness it. I have searched in every Dating Website based in India and Abroad in desperation of finding Husband but wasn't successful. Then, I asked every single Male Friend of mine if they would lend their sperm. Some said no, some laughed and some moved on. That's when I had begun to hate the opposite sex. After multiple attempts of IVF, The Doctor called Me one fine day to inform Me about the positive result. I was unable to react then. May be, I am lucky to have conceived at that age'.
