This Film Was Supposed To Be Samantha's Debut In Bollywood!

Samantha Akkineni is one of the biggest star heroines in South India currently. Ever since she made her debut back in 2010 with 'Ye Maya Chesave', Samantha got back-to-back hits and quickly reached the top league. Along with adorable looks, Samantha is also known for her acting potential which can be clearly seen in films like 'Eega', 'Oh Baby' and many others.
Despite not being a commercial success, Samantha's performance in 'Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu' was considered her best performance till date. This Gautham Menon directorial has Nani as the male lead in Telugu while Jeeva did that role in Tamil. Samantha was the heroine in both versions and she even bagged a Filmfare award for the Tamil version.
Gautham Menon decided to make this film in Hindi too and Aditya Roy Kapoor was the hero in this film. The shooting was also started and a few stills featuring Samantha and Aditya Roy Kapoor were also released but the Hindi version did not release due to unknown reasons. If that film released, Samantha would have made her Hindi debut back in 2012 and that too with 'Aashiqui 2' here which was a huge sensation back then.
Nonetheless, she is getting ready to surprise the Hindi audience through a web series now. She is making her Hindi debut in the second season of 'Family Man' which will be streamed soon on Amazon Prime.
