Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' has been that one film for which the entire Hindi film industry longer for in the past few years. The industry was facing one big disaster after another and even big names fumbled badly. But SRK who was coming back onto the silver screen after a gap of 4 years has quenched their thirst.
The movie is smashing all the established records in Bollywood according to trade pundits. The movie came out on 25th December but it is still getting steady collections. On Sunday, the movie reportedly earned a share of 27.4 crores. Till date, the movie grossed 430 crores worldwide and the box office run is expected to continue for another ten days at least. On 17th February, Ranbir Kapoor's romantic comedy and Karthik Aryan's 'Shehzada' are arriving and these flicks are expected to slow down 'Pathaan' inevitably.
John Abraham played the role of a ruthless villain in this flick which is directed by Siddharth Anand. This director is known for such racy spy thrillers as he made 'War' and 'Bang Bang' till date. Director Siddharth Anand presented SRK in the way his fans wanted to see and there are plenty of scenes where the influence of South Indian cinema can clearly be seen. Deepika Padukone is the heroine in this movie while Yash Raj Films bankrolled it.
