Tamil actress Oviya was shot to fame with her stint in the inaugural season of Bigg Boss Tamil. A fan army was also formed on her, called Oviya Army. later on, she acted in a controversial film called 90ml. Oviya acted in many bold scenes in this movie, raising the eyebrows of the Tamil audience.
She has now come up with her new film, Kalavani 2. Directed by Sarkunam, this movie has hit the screens yesterday. Speaking about the film in an interview, Oviya said that she will be forever grateful to director Sarkunam for giving her the chance to act in Kalavani series. She also stated that he is one who changed his name from Helen to Oviya Helen.
"I play the role of a women's welfare association president in this movie. The character is very close to my heart as I'm an independent woman in real life as well. I don't believe in marriage, so I don't want to get married. I don't need any partner in my life and I want to spend the whole time acting in films," she further added.
