AP Floods: Tollywood Heroes make donations as help aid

Andhra Pradesh is experiencing unprecedented downpours in the past few weeks. The state did not see such severe rainfall in the recent past. The fear is not over yet as the India Meteorological Department warned that the state might see severe rain in the next few days. The plight of the people with the flood situation is unimaginable.
Seeing the plight of the people with the floods, Tollywood had come forward to play its part in helping the victims. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Superstar Mahesh Babu, Young Tiger NTR had extended a donation of Rs 25 lakh each to fight the situation.
The stars took to microblogging site Twitter to announce the news of extending their help in the light of the flood situation. Having announced that, they also urged everyone to come forward to extend their help in the tough time.
"Pained by the wide spread devastation & havoc caused by floods & torrential Rains in Andhra Pradesh. Making a humble contribution of Rs.25 lacs towards Chief Minister Relief Fund to help aid relief works. @ysjagan @AndhraPradeshCM," Chiranjeevi tweeted. In the tweet, he shared a note too.
"In light of the devastating floods in Andhra Pradesh, I would like to contribute 25 lakhs towards the CMRF. Request everyone to come forward and help AP during this hour of crisis," Superstar Mahesh Babu tweeted.
"Moved by the plight of people affected by the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh, I am contributing 25 lakhs as a small step to aid in their recovery," NTR tweeted.
It's happy to see that the Tollywood film industry is coming forward to help Andhra Pradesh that is dealing with the flood situation. Seeing them, others will also come forward to do their part in helping the victims.
