The OTT platforms are giving a huge opportunity for superstars to attempt something different which they cannot do it for the big screens. Ajay Devgn is known either for 'Singham' style cop entertainers or 'Golmaal' kind of fun films lately. The image of Ajay Devgn is not letting him try something new but he managed to break the shackles for 'Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness'. This is a psychological crime drama that will be streamed soon on Disney + Hotstar. The official trailer has been released a while ago and it had a lot to offer.
It is based on a British TV show named 'Luther' and we can see Ajay Devgn as an officer named 'Rudra' in the crime department who has his own set of personal issues to deal with. He and his team are after a criminal who is on a killing spree and torturing the victims. Esha Deol plays the role of his wife who is separated from Rudra. Raashi Khanna plays an interesting role and her character is filled with a lot of mystery. She is seen romancing Ajay Devgn but there is something fishy about her character and we will get to know more about it when the show is premiered.
The series features a lot of recognized actors like Atul Kulkarni. Ashwini Kalsekar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Milind Gunaji, Luke Kenny and others.
