Two Interesting Projects From Suresh Production Going Straight To OTT!

Suresh Productions banner is one of the biggest in Tollywood and it is a name that needs no introduction. This production company owned by the Daggubati family is known for making big-budget films as well as giving opportunities to fresh talents. Suresh Babu is very updated and explores every medium available. He reportedly has a good grip on the theatre business but he did not hesitate to directly release his productions on OTT platforms last year.
As we know, 'Narappa' and 'Drushyam 2' were released directly on Amazon Prime Video. Now, the production house has two films ready for release. While the first one is Rana Daggubati's intense love story' Virataparvam', the other film is 'Shaakini Daakini' which features Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas in main roles. Due to the third wave, the theatre business has gone down once again and sources say that Suresh Productions team is looking to release both these films digitally.
It is known that 'Shaakini Daakini' will be released directly on popular OTT platform Netflix, sources claim that Rana's film will be streamed in Amazon Prime Video. Suresh Babu is making moves and the official announcement is expected to be out soon.
Rana plays the role of Comrade Ravanna in 'Virataparvam' which is inspired by the true events of the 1990s. Acclaimed actress Sai Pallavi plays the role of Vennela who is a big admirer of Ravanna's poetry. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Suresh Babu, 'Virataparvam' is directed by Venu Udugula. Dani Sanchez Lopez is the cinematographer along with Divakar Mani. Suresh Bobbili scored the music and the post-production works are currently going on in full flow. The film also has an amazing star cast comprising Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Benarji, Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad and others. Raju Sundaram is the choreographer while Stephen Richard along with Peter Hein composed the fights.
Sudheer Varma is coming up with a female-oriented subject titled 'Shaakini-Dhaakini'. It is a remake of the Korean super hit action flick 'Midnight Runners'. It is going to be a complete action entertainer. More details regarding the cast and crew will be revealed in the coming days.
