Is Allu Aravind an Unsung Hero In Chiranjeevi Film Career?

Megastar Chiranjeevi is a veteran actor and one of the four pillars of the Tollywood industry. He had an inspiring journey. Though he started his journey as a supporting cast he became a hero and emerged as the undisputed King Of Tollywood. After the late NTR, only Chiranjeevi enjoyed the top position without any competition as a leading hero.

After getting a strong hit like Khaidi in 1983, Chiranjeevi became a big name and started giving continuous hits. He dominated the industry completely in the 90s with commercial hits. A national weekly said Chiranjeevi is bigger than Amitabh Bachchan in terms of remuneration and box office collections.

The discussion on the backing Chiranjeevi got from the Allu family is in the news now. Veteran actor-comedian Chandra Mohanin his recent interview made some interesting comments about his career and how he could not become a star.

Talking about the setbacks he had Chandra Mohan said he did not have someone like Allu Aravind who stood behind Chiranjeevi and guided him. He even compared Chiranjeevi to Arjuna and Allu Aravind to Lord Krishna.

People are talking about this now. We have to accept the fact that before Chiranjeevi can have a steady spot in the industry, the Geetha Arts production house run by the Allu family made films with Chiranjeevi. If we look at the hit films of Chiru, the majority of films were made by the production house.

Megastar Chiranjeevi had hit combinations with filmmakers like A. Kodandarami Reddy and Raghavendra Rao. The combinations were set by none other than the Geetha Arts banner. The films had a template that is enough to cement Chiru's place as a commercial hero.

Chiranjeevi also worked hard to become a big star and there is no denial to this. Be it dance or fights he gave his best and his hard work was complimented by the Geetha Arts.

We have to admit the fact that Geetha Arts played a significant role in Chiranjeevi’s career and Allu Aravind is the unsung hero in this. He used to take care of the projects as a producer. The films had strong commercial aspects.
