It is strange how one film completely changes the fortunes of many. It either shatters career or takes them into the next level. Sadly, it is the first case for Mohana Krishna Indraganti. The class director who is known for his light-hearted entertainers tried something different and made an action thriller like 'V' which released recently. The film had a stylish look but it had nothing more which is why it got a lot of criticism.
During 'V', he penned a big film which requires around 60-70 crores. The story impressed the Mythri Movie Makers as per sources but they did no go ahead with the project as the selected hero doesn't have that level of market value. The film reached Dil Raju and both Indraganti and Raju planned to take it on the floors after 'V' as per sources. But after the failure of 'V', the news is that Dil Raju himself asked Indraganti to shelf that project and plan another classy fun entertainer in this typical style.
Indraganti is now waiting for Naga Chaitanya who may allot the dates after Vikram K Kumar's film. It looks like 'V' took a huge toll on the 'Gentleman' director's plans.
