Varisu Grosses 300 Cr Worldwide, Heading Towards Being The Biggest Earner For Thalapathy

Thalapathy Vijay's wholesome family entertainer Varisu directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, Shirish,under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations entered 300 Crore mark. This is the second 300 Cr grosser for Vijay, after Bigil and is heading towards being the biggest earner for the star.
While the Tamil version of the movie that was released on January 11th created sensations with record collections, the Telugu version also turned out to be the biggest grosser for Vijay in Telugu states. Varisu did well in Kerala, Karnataka and northern states too. Despite the huge competition, the movie raked in big numbers overseas as well.
Vijay was mostly seen in mass characters and it was a new experience for the audience and fans to see the star in a classy role in the family entertainer. Vamshi Paidipally made sure Varisu has sufficient elements to cheer for fans too.
As per trade reports, Varisu witnessed housefuls in many centers in its fourth weekend too.
