Varun Tej decided to make a different film immediately after two successes and took up Anthariksham in Sankalpam Reddy direction.
Movie is releasing on 21st December. Being a Space thriller, movie could have easily gone over budget but Sankalp Reddy and team managed to finish it in time and in limited budget it seems.
Film theatrical pre-release business is close to Rs. 21 crores and the team is hoping for a positive talk. But they have heavy competition to consider as well.
Well, movie coming from a Mega hero with limited stakes during an holiday season is always more inclined to become a safe bet, provided it entertains audience well enough.
