'Veerayya' Dominates With $2 Million At US Box Office!

Mega mass entertainer 'Waltair Veerayya' may have a routine story and a predictable screenplay but Megastar's screen presence, high entertainment quotient and Ravi Teja's special role paired up with perfect work from Bobby, DSP and others have made it a big success at the box office. While it is raking up the moolah at the box office in the domestic market, the situation is even better in the overseas market.
The movie officially entered the $ 2 million dollars club at the overseas box office. The makers of 'Waltair Veerayya' announced it through a Mega mass poster which shows Megastar in full style and swagger while smoking a cigarette. It collected more than all the Sankranti releases like 'Thunivu', 'Veera Simha Reddy' and 'Varisu'. This is a huge feat for Chiranjeevi as it has been a long time since he delivered such a big success at the US box office.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. Arthur A Wilson handled the cinematography. Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer. Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer. Directed by Bobby, Shruti Hassan is the leading lady while Catherine Tresa played a key role. Prakash Raj and Bobby Simha played negative roles.
Megastar is currently focusing on 'Bholaa Shankar' right now. The shooting has already started and the entire crew is currently working on an important schedule. Tamannaah Bhatia is the heroine in this movie while Anil Sunkara is the producer. AS Prakash is the art director while Mani Sharma's son Mahati Swara Sagar is the music composer. Dudley is handling the cinematography and we need to see how this movie turns out. Meher Ramesh is the movie's director.
