Senior hero Venkatesh who bounced back with 'Guru' after some setbacks scored a blockbuster with 'F2 - Fun and Frustration'. He is currently working on another multi-starrer 'Venky Mama' which may release in December. This actor showing interest in remaking Tamil film 'Asuran' raised a lot of eyebrows.
His fans went a step ahead and made a poster of Venkatesh as 'Asuran'. This picture is becoming viral on social media now. But the question is, will Venky suit for this film or not.
'Asuran' directed by Vetri Maaran is a raw and intense rural film. Dhanush delivered an award worthy performance as both father and son in this film. The screenplay and narration drew a lot of applause and the film grossed above 100 crores in Tamil Nadu. Though Venkatesh is a good actor, it is tough to fill the boots of a performer like Dhanush. Also, the village looks and playing both father and son may be difficult for Venky keeping in mind his age and looks. So, we need to see if he really goes ahead with this script or not.
