'Venky Mama' Misses A Golden Opportunity!

Releasing a film at the right time plays a crucial role in its result. We have seen many films ending up in losses because of the competition. Getting a solo release is very important these days and the team of 'Venky Mama' missed such golden chance.
As the Dasara season has come to an end, the noise in the theaters have calmed down. There are no big releases this week and the coming week. This provided a great opportunity for 'Venky Mama' to arrive during Diwali season and set the cash registers ringing. But, the makers moved the film all the way to December where it needs to compete with a lot of other interesting films like 'Prathiroju Randage', 'Bheeshma' and 'Disco Raja'.
The shooting was wrapped up in September and the team decided to release this multi-starrer in December. One wonders why?
